Q. What is a roll over car wash?
A. Usually there are three brushes mounted on a moving gantry that travels over a parked vehicle whilst washing from front to back and back to front.

Q. A conveyor?
A. This where the car is usually pulled along via a ‘dolly’ on a chain behind one of the wheels. The car moves through the different aspects of the wash on a ‘conveyor’ belt operation. These systems are usually employed for high end volume sites.

Q. A Jet Wash?
A. The Jet wash is a high pressure lance and foam brush that is used manually by the customer – a do it yourself type of machine.

Q. What space do I need for a roll over?
A. The norm is 4.5m wide by 10m long, and if it is in a building it needs about 3.5m minimum height clearance.

Q.What services do I need?
A. You will need mains drainage to the foul sewer, a mains three phase electrical power supply and a mains water supply.

Q. Will I need anything else?
A. Depending upon your location you may need a three stage interceptor connected into you wash pad drainage; this can also be used for water recycling. A mains water storage tank that meets local authority regulations, Compressed air, all of which are usually located in a plant room.

Q. Water recycling – what does this do?
A. This recycles your wash water, cleaning it ready for reuse. There are many methods of cleaning and percentages of recycling the wash water, from 50 -90%

Q. Must I have water recycling?
A. No – only if you’re local authority demands it.

Q. Is there any benefit?
A. Yes, cost saving in water charges plus you would normally be able to use the wash during drought restrictions.

Q. What types are brushes do you use?
A. We use only the best quality product, please look at  the brushes section of the website, this explains the choice and benefits of the products.

Q. How long do brushes last?
A. That’s really dependant on several key factors, Quality of brush, brush type, quality of detergents used and machine type.

Q. What about chemicals, are there any difference in quality and performance?
A. Yes – we recommend that you only use quality products. To obtain maximum revenue you need to use only the best available

Q. What size drums do are the chemicals supplied?
A. Depending upon your specific need – mainly 10ltr and 25ltr drums although 205ltr drums are available.

Q. Do you supply data sheets?
A. Yes – we have data and handling sheet for all of our products.

Q. How long do the chemicals usually take to get delivered?
A. Three to Five working days as the norm.

Q. What about service?
A. We offer a nationwide service back up. Please review our service offer on our service page.

Q. Will you look after another manufacturer’s machine?
A. Yes, we would carryout a machine survey prior to agreeing a contract. It maybe that there are some remedial works required which we would quote.

Q. Do you operate seven days per week?
A. Yes, our office is manned every day of the week.

Q. What if my machine needs parts?
A. We have a warehouse fully stocked with thousands of different parts for many types of machine. These can be dispatched overnight to our engineer or to your site.

Q. Do you offer service contracts?
A. Yes.

Q. Do you offer service reports?
A. We record all service transactions which then enable call history reports to be built if and when required. For larger contracts this is usually done automatically and emailed direct to the customer.

Q. Will I always get the same engineer?
A. In most cases but we do strive to offer you the best service so this sometimes means that the next available engineer is sent to you.

Q. What about marketing?
A. We can help you with ideas to help you promote your car wash business.

Q. Signs?
A. Yes – we work with our designers to offer you a complete package, for menu boards, instruction signs and any others that may be needed.

Q. Can the machine come in my company or Oil company colours?
A. Most certainly – in almost all cases we can identify and meet with your requirements
